What is the Simple Truth Podcast?
You may have questions about the Bible that you've never felt comfortable asking—or Scripture you have heard many times but don't fully understand. The Simple Truth Podcast with Ted Ross is a free Christian podcast that explores important biblical topics and walks through Scripture verse-by-verse, showing what God's Word means for everyday life.
You don't need a seminary degree or years of church experience to understand the Bible. Whether you are a new Christian or have followed Jesus for many years, each episode will help you see Scripture in context, understand foundational Christian truths, and grow in your relationship with God.

The Simple Truth Story
In 2024, seven people from diverse backgrounds began meeting twice a week in a living room to explore questions often left unanswered in traditional church settings. Together, they studied foundational Christian topics—from salvation and forgiveness to purpose and calling—covering scripture from Genesis to Revelation.
As the teaching grew and others began asking for access, the Simple Truth Podcast was created to share these teachings freely with believers everywhere. Our sincere prayer is that you benefit from them as we have. Learn more about Simple Truth.

Every season covers an important Christian theme and every episode discusses a major Bible topic. Episodes are organized into compelling audience questions that are answered with clear "simple truths", containing relevant scripture verses provided to help you understand the Bible more deeply. Simple Truths are short, clear biblical statements that summarize essential principles for living the Christian life (e.g. Simple Truth #11 is "God is the Source of Your Success" referencing Matthew 6:31-33).
Every word we define includes a Strong's number reference (for example, G2098 for "gospel"). This gives you a simple way to explore the word’s original biblical meaning through your own trusted lexicon or Bible-study resource.
Each episode is designed to help you understand Scripture in context, build a strong biblical foundation in your life, and help you grow in your relationship with God, regardless of your journey or calling.
